UX/UI & AI experiences · Current opening
Product Designer.
Project-based · Initially two months
A project-based role, initially for two months, designing how people work with AI. Make complex operations feel coherent, direct attention to what matters and help people take the right next action.
Apply for the roleThe opportunity
Design the experience of getting work done.
Our work includes ERP-scale operational platforms, developed section by section while the business processes themselves are being redesigned. Screens and capabilities arrive quickly. Clear visual language, reusable patterns and consistency have to keep pace.
Often, AI has already interpreted the situation. The experience starts with a signal or a nudge: what happened, why it matters and what should happen next. The design needs to make action, responsibility and the eventual outcome clear, including when a person needs to exercise judgement.
That experience can be a screen, a conversation or a tool used through an MCP-connected agent. Context, permissions, feedback, handovers and recovery all need designing, even when there is no conventional interface to draw.
What you'll own
From signal to a useful outcome.
Understand the work.
Work with the people doing the job. Map their decisions, interruptions, obligations and exceptions, then test whether the proposed experience helps them get to a result.
Design attention and action.
Make nudges relevant and timely. Explain the proposed action and its consequences, distinguish urgency from noise and show who owns the next step.
Keep a growing system coherent.
Create components, patterns, states and interaction rules that work across hundreds of screens. Partner with engineers so the design system holds up as new areas ship.
Work across screens and conversations.
Choose the interaction that fits the task: a focused screen, an actionable notification, chat or an agent using connected tools. Make transitions and context feel continuous.
Make AI understandable.
Design for uncertainty, approvals, correction and human exceptions. Help people understand what the system has done, what it is proposing and where they retain control.
Learn from what happens.
Prototype and test with real users, follow work through to its outcome and use that evidence to improve both the experience and the underlying process.
What you'll bring
Systems thinking. Strong visual craft.
You've designed complex products or operational tools and can explain how your decisions improved the work. You bring strong interaction design, information architecture, typography and visual hierarchy, with the ability to turn those into a practical design system.
You understand the psychology of attention, cognitive load, trust and decision-making. You can work closely with engineers at pace, prototype ideas and check the implementation without losing sight of the whole experience.
Show us how you think about AI-mediated work: suggested actions, confidence, permissions, conversational interaction and human intervention. We're interested in the reasoning and the outcome as well as the finished screens.

Sound like your kind of work?
Send us your portfolio and a short introduction. Choose a complex product or workflow and explain the problem, your decisions and what changed for the people using it. Include conversational or AI experience work if you have it.
